A permanent resident is an individual who has been given permanent resident status in Canada, but is not a Canadian citizen. Permanent residents are citizens of other countries. Permanent Resident status allows you to live and work in Canada on a long-term basis.
We begin by reviewing your case and assessing your eligibility for Permanent Residence in Canada. We also assess the likelihood of success for your application.
Our next step is to collect the required documentation to support the Permanent Residence application.
Next, we prepare the application. This involves reviewing supporting documents, filling forms and cross-referencing information, and submitting the application to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on your behalf.
What is Express Entry?
Express Entry (EE) is a Canadian online immigration application system. It allows people to submit a profile and be considered as a skilled immigrant (Direct PR immigration). Candidates with the highest rankings are invited to apply for permanent residency through this system.
How does Express Entry work?
If you complete an online profile using the Express Entry government portal, your application will be ranked according to a points system. The Express Entry draws are conducted every 15 days (subject to change) and the candidates are required to meet the minimum cut-off score as per the draw to become eligible for the PR invitation.
If you meet or exceed this cut-off score, you will be invited to apply for permanent residence as a skilled immigrant under the Express Entry System.
Once you have applied, your PR application will then be processed within the next 6 months.
